Queensland Blue Couch Turf

Queensland Blue Couch is a coarse dense leaf couch and is different from the rest of the green couches. After dry periods, Queensland Blue Couch will respond extremely rapidly to rainfall. It produces minimal thatch and therefore does not suffer from a ‘stringy’ appearance after mowing like some of the green couches do. It needs to be mowed every seven days in the warmer months and will perform reasonably well if looked after. It is a faster growing couch but does not handle shade well. Queensland Blue Couch is drought tolerant and can handle high traffic making it an ideal choice for residential homes, roadsides and parks.
